OLED displays market is expected to grow at annual rate of 30% approx. mainly for use in smartphones, tablets, and TVs and the OLED materials that make up these displays are also in increasing demand ($1.8 billion market in 2023_※). Conventional OLED materials are synthesized through palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions, but there are still many challenges related to sustainability and getting higher performance and longer product life.

TSK is applying its iron-catalyst technology to synthesis of OLED materials.
